It’s obvious that our consumers are changing. Their behavior, interests and drivers have been changing non-stop the last 10 years. Some of these changes have been influenced, in one way or another, by the irruption of technology in our daily lives. A good example is the unstoppable growth of ecommerce, which has become one of the keys of digital transformation of companies of all size and sector. According to The Boston Consulting Group estimations, sales through Internet will reach in 2016 a turnover of 24.700 million euros in Spain, which means tripling 2009’s turnover.
Mobile devices have also turn mobility into one of the keys, and many companies are using this strategy. However, it’s not the only one. Social media has created a new way of interacting, both between individuals and between companies and clients. As a consequence, social digitalization has begun to be a part of companies’ strategy too, because they have been forced to rethink their processes and structures to meet the market’s new standards.
If this wasn’t enough, other aspects are becoming more and more important these last 5 years; IoT (Internet of Things), born thanks to this new way of interacting with the digital world, offers us uncountable opportunities.
